The oldest steam
locomotive working engine in the world, which
was built in the year 1855 by
the eastern Indian Railways from a British
Firm.
The train has won National Tourism Award
and holds Guiness world Record for being the oldest
locomotive in regular operation.
The main attraction
of the train is a large window which gives enchanting
view of rural countryside and the beautiful and
unique engine bogey of the train. In months of
October to March, its Journey on every 2nd and
4th Saturday from Delhi Cantonment Railway Station.
Fairy Queen is
the precious asset of National Rail Museum. This
train gives a fair idea about its importance as
well the services rendered by it. The train has
a capacity of 50 passengers and has an air-conditioned
coaches and also has a Pantry and features on
board catering. |
