Birla Temple Tour

The Birla Family has built a beautiful contemporary style temple of Lakshmi-Narayana in the South of Jaipur, which is commonly known as Birla Temple.

The temple has three domes representing three different approaches of religion. The stained glass windows in the temple depict scenes from Hindu mythology. The marble idol ofLord Ganesha is a masterpiece. The main idol, Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narayan are carved out from one piece of marble.

The temple has many other idolsincluding the historical achievers, philosophers and saints like, Buddha, Christ, Confucius, Socrates and Zarathustra. The exteriors of the temple are engraved withbeautiful sculptures on various legendary themes.

The interiors are decorated with the series of mythological events depicted on marbles. The Birla temple is built on a platform and is encircled by strikingly scenic gardens. You can see this white marble temple shine like a star in night.
