It is also the nearest railway station to the town and to the park as well. Ranthambore National Park is one of the largest National Park in the North India. Chittorgarh FortChittorgarh : Chittorgarh is known for its Majestic Chttorgarh Fort, that reflects the pride, romance and spirit of people of Chittor. The history of Chittor reveals out the courage of Chattari Rajputs ( Rajasthani warrior caste) who always choose death before surrendering against any one. Chittorgarh fort is an epitome of the heroism and the sacrifice of Rajputs of Chittorgarh. Chittorgarh fort seated on a 180 meter hill, covers an area of 700 acres. It was said to be constructed by the Mauryans in the 7th century AD. Chittorgarh fort stands out as a symbol of glorious Rajput trtadition and citadel of many great Rajput worrior like Rana Kumbha, Maharana Pratap, Jaimal Patta. The one mile long serpentine road to the fort is quite steep and exhastive. The fort is approached through seven huge gateways or ´pols´, which are guarded by watch tower and massive iron spiked doors. Udaipur Lake PalaceUdaipur : Udaipur is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities of Rajasthan. Udaipur is popularly known as ‘City of Lakes’ as the city is home to some of the beautiful lakes such as Lake Pichola, Lake Fateh Sagar, Lake Swaroop Sagar. Apart from being the City of Lakes, Udaipur is home to the majestic Palaces, and lively workspaces, temples and the architecture that attract not only the domestic travelers but also the foreign visitors. Most visited lake of Udaipur is lake Pichola because of its proximity to the lined palaces around and within itself. Hotel lake Palace is most watchable place in Udaipur , situated on the Jag Niwas Island in the Lake Pichola. It was used to be a royal summer palace in earlier past but now running as a 5 star luxury Hotel. Jaisalmer FortJaisalmer : Jaisalmer lies in the heart of Thar desert and about 590 km west from the capital city of Rajasthan , Jaipur. Jaisalmer is often called as “The Golden City” of Rajasthan due to the yellow sandstones were used to built the town. Jaisalmer is crowned by a formidable and majestic fort, Jaisalmer fort. Jaisalmer is known for its fort and the Havelis never found elsewhere in India. The Prominent and most visted havelis are Patwon-ki-Haveli, Salam Singh –ki-Haveli, Nathmalji-ki-Haveli and Haveli Shrenath. The city has also adorned with the beautiful Jain temples , are the major attraction for the visitors. Gadsisar Lake in Jaisalmer was excavated in 1367 by Rawal Gadsi Singh, now become a tourist spot for the visitors. It is a scenic rainwater lake surrounded by small temples and shrine. Jaisalmer is also a host to the world renowned Desert Festival, which is held every year in the month of January/February and you can see the artists performing the famous Kalbelia dances and folk songs in this duration. Jaisalmer is known for its huge and golden cloured deserts. Sand dunes are the most exciting event of the city though sand dunes are situated around 45 km away from the city of Jaisalmer. These sand dunes lies in Thar Desert and the most enjoyable and famous ones in Rajasthan. There are two places near Jaisalmer, Sam & Khuri Village famous for sand dues.

Jodhpur FortJodhpur : Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan and popularly known as “Sun City” or “Bule City”. “Sun City” due to having bright sunny days round the year in Jodhpur and “Blue city” due to blue painted house around the majestic Mahrangarh Fort, Jodhpur. Jodhpur is also most frequented city of Rajasthan by the tourists due to its geographic location as it lies in the center of the state and well connected by all means of transportation from all major cities of Rajasthan. The Major attraction of Jodhpur is the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, atop the hill at 125 meter high, has the magnificent overlooking view of the city. There is a fort museum that in-houses an exquisite collection of palanquins, hawdahs, royal cradles , miniatures, musical instruments, costumes and furniture. Jodhpur has several tourist attractions like Jaswant Thada, which is an architectural landmark of Jodhpur, the memorial was built of white marble to commemorate the Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. There are two more tombs in this cenotaph. Umaid Bhawan Palace is also must see in Jodhpur, the finest marble was used to build this huge Palace of an area of over million square feet. Bharatpur Bird SanctuaryBharatpur : Bharatpur is famous for its bird sanctuary Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Bharatpur is well connected by road to the all major cities of North India like Agra (54 km), Delhi (182), Jaipur (174). Every year tourists come here to see the rare birds like Siberian cranes who are spotted during the winter in the warmer climate of Bharatpur. Agra Taj MahalAgra : The city of Taj Mahal. People come to Agra to see Taj Mahal, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife late Mumtaj Mahal. The mausoleum was named after his wilfe, Mumtaj Mahal. 20,000 labors were employed for 22 years (1630–1652) to built the symbol of love “Taj Mahal” . Taj Mahal is the most beautiful building of the world. The finest marble of the Place “Makarna” near Jodhpur was used in the construction of the most fascinating and beautiful monument of the world ‘Taj Mahal’. Taj Mahal is on the bank of Yamuna, it can be seen from the Majestic Red Fort of Agra where Emperor Shah Jahan spent his last eight years of his life in the house arrest by his own son Aurangjeb. Red fort of Agra is also a worth seeing fort. Another example of fine architecture of Mughal is Fatehpur Sikri, which is often called as ‘Abandoned city’ or the ‘Ghost City’.
