It is about 85km from Udaipur. It was the second most important fort of the mewar kingdom after Chittorgarh. It is 1914 meters high from the sea level. The fort was built in 15th century AD. by Rana Kumbha.It has magnificent palaces and an array of ruined temples.

Kumbhalgarh Fort
The most spectacular Fort which was built by Rana Kumbha.It was called the ‘eye of mewar’ because of its strategic position in relation to the kingdoms aggressive neighbors in Gujrat and Marwar.
Badal Mahal
Badal Mahal famous for its beautiful apartments painted with delicate pastel coloured murals in the 19th century. One can see from the chambers an ingenious ‘air-conditioning ’ system.
Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary
This sanctuary supports a rich variety of wildlife like panther, Bear, Wild Boar, and scientifically bred crocodiles in the lake are some major attractions.
