The beautiful Chittorgarh town lies in the heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. It is known throughout the state for its forts and havelis. Chittorgarh Fort
This fort has an historical importance. It is located on the op of a 180m high hill, which covers an area of 240 hectares. In between the road, there are seven different gates.
Kirti Stambh
It has seven stories, and was built in 12th century by a very rich Jain businessman.
Padmini Palace
It is an another interesting place where Ala-Ud_din saw the reflection of the beautiful queen padmini.
Kalika Mata Temple
It was built in 8th century for Sun, and now since 14th century it is dedicatedto kalika Mata.
Meerabai Temple
The famous Meera Bai worshiped Lord Krishana here in this temple.
Vijay Stambh
It is nine storeyed tower known as Vijay Stambh and also called as a Victory Tower. This tower has a wonderful view of the city. It was built by Maharana Kumbha in 1440.
